Log Jam-

Log Jam is the elastic chinking that simply responds better to log movement than other chinkings. Since all logs move, this elasticity allows Log Jam to handle any log movement, in any type of weather, over and over again. It stretches and compresses as logs shrink and swell - up to 100% of the original joint size. Yet it maintains the traditional look of mortar without "stretching out," so it still looks good after years of log movement.
Plus its the only chinking to hold a UL oe-hour fire rating when applied in accordance with Fire Resistance Directory Design No. UL519.

Stacker-

Stacker is an elastic adhesive-sealant for logs. Stocked in 30 oz. tubes in two colors Woodtone and Tan, Stacker is an economical choice for use during log stacking. Stacker is highly elastic and reaches maximum adhesion in 3 to 6 weeks when used as directed. Stacker is paintable with latex and oil based stains and paints after l weeks cure time. Adheres to woods treated with most preservatives and has a cure time of 2 weeks, tack free in 1 hour under ideal conditions. Click on data tech sheet link below for additional information.

Backer Rod-

Round closed cell foam rod used to fill voids in logs and joints. In order to maintain the elasticity of your chinking or caulking proper joint construction requires the use of backer rod or other filler to provide for two point adhesion. We stock a full range of backer rod from 1/4" to 1 1/4" in diameter in a variety of packaging quantities. We also offer larger diameters on a special order basis.

Grip Strip-

An alternative to backer rod Grip Strip is a trapezoidal shaped foam backer, will work better than round rod in some applications.
Grip Strip is available in widths from 3/4" to 5" in a variety of packaging options. We currently stock only limited quantities and sizes call for availability and pricing.
